Data Privacy
LPR GmbH thanks you for visiting our website and your interest in our products. Your rights to privacy and data security are extremely important to us. We want you to feel happy when visiting our website. By accessing or using the website, you accept the legal provisions. LPR GmbH complies with the EU Data Protection Directive and its national regulations; we hereby refer you to the relevant EU directives.
You are entitled to receive information free of charge and at any time about the personal data stored about you, its origin and the aim and purpose of the data processing as well as to the correction, blocking or deletion of this data. To this end and if you have any other questions in relation to your personal data, you can contact us at the address provided in the legal notice.
Personal data
Personal data is information about factual or personal relations that can be assigned to a particular or identifiable natural person. This is the personal information that you provide us with when contacting us, registering on our website or ordering or exchanging goods. In this regard, data that is collated and processed for purely statistical purposes (e.g. data about the usage of our websites) and cannot be assigned to a natural person is not classed as personal data.
Collation, processing and use of personal data
“Collation” means the acquisition of personal data. “Processing” means the storage, modification, sharing, blocking and deletion of personal data. “Use” means any use of personal data not classed as processing. Personal data shall be collated on our website for the purpose of processing the order (or for our contractual relationship) including subsequent services, for administrative purposes and for our own marketing purposes. The primary legal bases in this regard are the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG). We save and process personal data in the Federal Republic of Germany. On request, we shall provide you with information free of charge about the data stored about you or your pseudonym. To receive such information, please send us a request by post. Also upon your request, we shall correct, block or delete the data stored about you providing this is mandatory and possible pursuant to legal requirements. Personal data shall only be shared with other parties if this is necessary to process the order, for example, if using a courier service to deliver orders or to process an order with the respective manufacturer. Furthermore, depending on your selected payment method, personal data may be shared with third parties for the purpose of transacting the payment. Your data shall otherwise not be shared with third parties (e.g. for marketing purposes)!

We have a number of technical and organisational safeguards in place to ensure the highest security standards. Our security measures are constantly updated through the use of new technologies. This can lead to changes, for example in the use of cookies.
Your right to information
Pursuant to the provisions of the German Federal Data Protection Act, you have the right to free information about the personal data stored about you. The relevant legal provisions also establish that you have the right to demand the correction, deletion or blocking of the applicable data.
We shall gladly respond to any enquiries in this regard. At the same time, we must ensure that information is send to the right people. To prevent the wrong personal data from being disclosed due to mix-ups, please always specify e.g. your precise address or date of birth in any requests for information. Use of Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, a service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA, 94043, USA (‘Google’). Google Analytics uses ‘cookies’, text files that are stored on your computer and make it possible to analyse how you use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will generally be sent to a Google server in the United States, where it will be saved.
If IP anonymisation is activated on our website, Google will first truncate your IP address within European Union Member States or in other signatory states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address will only be sent to a Google server in the USA and truncated there in exceptional circumstances. On behalf of the website provider, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity and provide the website provider with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted from your browser within the scope of the Google Analytics service will not be combined with other data held by Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies by activating the appropriate browser settings. However, please note that if you do so, you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of our website. You can furthermore prevent Google from acquiring and processing the information generated by the cookie concerning your use of this website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link

Cookies
LPR GmbH uses cookies to monitor our visitors’ preferences and accordingly optimise our website designs. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your computer’s hard drive with your consent. You can enable or disable the use of cookies at any time. We have made every effort to ensure that our website also works without the use of cookies. LPR GmbH uses two types of cookies: temporary and persistent cookies. Temporary cookies (session cookies) are used to maintain a user’s session and inform the server which page should be displayed next. Persistent cookies (protocol cookies) enable us to record which websites are visited. Cookies help us better design our website in line with your needs. They solely contain technical data and no personal data such as your e-mail address or similar.
What are cookies? Many of the websites you visit store small text files on your computer. This enables the website to identify your computer each time you visit. These text files are known as ‘cookies’.
We use two types of cookies:
Type 1: basic cookies
We use these cookies as they are needed to save settings and preferences during your visit or until your next visit to our website. Without these cookies, using this website could be difficult.
If this website had a login function, an authentication cookie would be stored on your computer to identify the user following the logon process.
If this website offered embedded videos, a session cookie for a multimedia player would be stored on your computer. This cookie is required to play video or audio content.
Social plug-ins
Many social networks have developed ‘social plug-ins’ that website operators can integrate into their websites. These enable social network users to share content with their ‘friends’ (as well as to use other related functions such as comments). Our website can include one or more of these social plug-ins. These plug-ins store cookies to the user’s computer and access them. This enables the social networks to identify their members when they interact with these plug-ins.
Please note that the social networks can also use these social plug-ins for services that go beyond what is strictly necessary, for example for behavioural advertising. Users should explicitly request such services. You can check your cookie settings on your social media platform.
Type 2: statistical cookies
This website can use Google Analytics, an analysis service from Google Inc. to collate and analyse information about its use. This helps us improve your experience when using our website.
The information we potentially collate includes, for example, the various pages that you have visited as well as the date and time at which you did so. We do not collate any personal data.
As Google Inc. is a US company, the information is transmitted to a Google Inc. server in the USA, where it is saved. Google uses this information to analyse your usage of this website and create website activity reports for the website operator, as well as to provide further services relating to website and internet usage.
Google Inc. may transfer this information to third parties if legally required to do so or if Google has contracted them to process the information.
For how long are cookies stored?
We do not store cookies for any longer than they are required for the purpose for which they were stored. Most of the cookies that we use are ‘session cookies’. That means that they are deleted when you close your browser. Some cookies can be stored for a longer period of time, for example if you expressly request the website to remember your username for the login, your preferred language settings or other preferences. To perform long-term analyses on the use of this website, Google Analytics cookies are stored for up to two years.
How can I block cookies?
You can block cookies using your web browser settings. More information about how to change the settings can be found on your browser’s website. Google Analytics can also be disabled. To disable Google Analytics, go to the Google tools website and download and install the appropriate add-on for your browser. The add-on for disabling Google Analytics is compatible with Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox and Opera. Disabling Google Analytics will not affect the functionality of the website.
